Probat-Fluss Product Range

A range of additives for the heavy metal foundry and die casting industry, to aid the metallurgy of copper alloys.

Covering: to provide a reducing surface that protects from oxidation
Cleaning: to reduce hydrogen and oxidic contamination
Grain refinement: in boron-base for higher stability and stretching values in the casting
Coatings: to separate the metal from the die during the vertical casting process

Suitable for the covering of copper and copper alloy melts, particularly for bronze, brass, red brass and so on.

A reducing atmosphere is obtained and thus, the melt is prevented from oxidizing at simultaneous deoxidizing effect.

Put into the furnace together with the used material during the melting process, a reducing atmosphere is obtained and thus, the melt is prevented from oxidizing. If the alloy produces a lot of slag, incrustations are prevented.
